John BarnesJohn Barnes, following a successful career with blue-chip companies such as Procter & Gamble, Playtex, PepsiCo and KFC, led the management team that transformed Harry Ramsden's from a single restaurant in Yorkshire into a world famous brand.

Since selling Harry Ramsden's, he has been a Director of a wide range of businesses ranging from listed PLCs such as Caffe Nero to Chairman of La Tasca, which increased 5 times in value in 5 years via an IPO and subsequent sale. He is currently a Director of ISG plc , Sportech plc and Novus Leisure Ltd. He was voted the Sunday Times/Peel Hunt AIM Non Executive Director of the year in 2006. He has co-authored the best selling book, Marketing Judo with Richard Richardson and is a frequent speaker at conferences and events.

Richard Richardson

Richard RichardsonRichard Richardson began his career in marketing with Rowntree Mackintosh before spending the next 12 years with multi-national advertising agencies such as BBDO and Young & Rubicam.

He joined John Barnes in the acquisition of Harry Ramsden's being responsible for Marketing and Franchise Development.

Following the sale of Harry Ramsden's he co- authored the best selling business book, Marketing Judo, with John Barnes and was a non executive director of La Tasca before its flotation and subsequent sale.

He is a frequent speaker at conferences and seminars sharing the Marketing Judo principles for success.
